I love playing new games and am always on the lookout for what’s exciting in the world of PC gaming. But buying new games all the time gets expensive, trust me I know. So here I am on Razer Cortex: Deals trying to get the most games for the lowest prices.

I’ll be bringing you all you’ll ever need to know from the world of PC games, from the latest deals to game reviews and other gaming news, so sit back, relax and let’s kick things off with what, in my opinion, are the best games that have been released in 2017 so far!

Nier: Automata

From the whimsical mind of Yoko Taro comes an ARPG that will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between. Getting started’s easy, you got your hack and slash, your shoot-em ups and your RPG all rolled into one. And you get to kill alien robots to boot. Needless to say, the action is more than satisfying and the graphics gorgeous. I picked up the game controls fairly easily and was immediately immersed into the story.

More of an unexpected hit than an over hyped behemoth, Nier: Automata definitely delivers with its dystopic, open-world wasteland and captivating story line which made me shed tears more than once.

Resident Evil 7

I’ve never been so scared by a Resident Evil game. Hailing back to the tensions and fear of the unknown, similar to games like Amnesia, RE7 has the same sense of abandonment and helplessness. Along with the first person POV, the game is deliciously scary.

One of my favorite things about the game is the immersive and richly detailed world that all lends to the horror and anxiety of the game. You’ve never been so terrified to open a door in your life. All this leads to a game with an emphasis on exploration that is perfect for the scene.

The atmospheric horror of the game hence makes it a winner in my book, with all the usual elements of violence and excitement Resident Evil games have. RE7 does not disappoint.

As a huge fan of Devil May Cry,  I was definitely looking forward to Bayonetta’s action combat. Bayonetta’s game play is frenzied and exciting with never a dull moment on the table. Players get a dizzying array of weapons and combos all executed seamlessly in the game.

On top of the amazing game play, Bayonetta also comes with an equally flashy visual. From the unapologetically impractical costumes to the design of the witch herself – the game’s design is anything but boring.

Overall Bayonetta is sleek, stylish and an all round fun romp for an action-packed game.
